Welcome to the Vosges tour

This guided motorcycle tour in the Vosges takes you from Switzerland into France, to a mountain region that many riders consider one of the most atmospheric of all. The Vosges are often seen as the western counterpart to the Black Forest, and their appeal lies not in dramatic altitude, but in landscape, road flow and atmosphere. Broad ridgelines, dark forests, open high pastures and scenic roads give the region its unmistakable character.

The Vosges are especially rewarding for motorcycle touring because road flow and landscape come together here in a very special way. Instead of hectic traffic and major transport routes, you can expect harmonious curves, distinctive uplands and a region that feels calm, open and at the same time full of variety.

The Vosges are also shaped by a long history as a borderland and transition zone. Roads such as the Route des Crêtes stand not only for panoramic views, but also for historical depth. With the Donon, we also pass one of the most historically significant mountains in the region, where Celtic and Gallo-Roman traces are interwoven with the long history of the Vosges.

Between Grand Ballon, Donon and the characteristic ridgelines of the Vosges, this tour becomes more than just a beautiful ride: it combines nature, history and the special feeling of setting off into a different landscape.

You’ll find the full itinerary in the expandable section below.

Dare to discover the Vosges with us – we look forward to sharing the journey.
